For students entering grade 11 and 12

Sylvan Test Prep classes are packed full of time management tips, content reviews, test taking strategies and real practice questions that show the students how information is displayed. Students master strategies that have worked for thousands of Sylvan students. Students begin in May or early June with a practice test and online review. Students are given an online account and can complete up to three practice tests. During the class, students work with a highly trained and motivated instructor. Four days of class each week are devoted to instruction.

Friday each week is dedicated to taking a practice test followed by a Q & A session where students can talk about strategies. At the end of the class, students are given a “Vacation Packet” with a series of lesson reviews that the students are asked to complete prior to their

ACT testing date. Sylvan will return to Prairie on the Thursday evening before the September and October tests to convene a 2-hour review session.

This class is open to incoming 12th graders, and incoming 11th graders who have completed

the following prerequisite courses: Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Algebra II.
